Maria J. Saldana

Maria Saldana is a certified Real Estate broker and a Business Consultant operating as part of the team of HTI Strategies. Her experience as a business consultant is drawn from doing business consulting for over 20 years helping local small businesses as well as international investors. She specializes in design, structure, and implementation of business development strategies with businesses that are in the stage of change and/or wish to break into the US marketplace. Maria has successfully helped in expand numerous businesses and to acquire Commercial and Industrial properties as part of the package offered.

Maria accumulated invaluable experience in small and medium size projects in Houston via Seller/Buyer Representation, Landlord/Tenant Representation, Land Sales & Acquisitions, and on Investment Sales Representation. She has achieved wealth generation for numerous clients negotiating with medium and large organizations including but not limited to large Real Estate institutions & brokers, attorneys, Real Estate owners, developers, as well as major investors in an array of situations. Her ability of negotiation is paramount, and her performance has exceeded expectations during most of her interventions.
Maria has earned her Broker’s license under the Texas Real Estate Commission; she is in process of acquiring a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); she has earned a designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She acquired a Certificate of Integrated Marketing Communications and a Certificate of Program Management at the University of Houston. She holds accreditations by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She has earned the Millennium Club Silver award two consecutive years as a top producer of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) at United Real Estate.

Maria headed the study abroad program at the University of Houston for nearly 14 years sending hundreds of students all over the world. She negotiated agreements with overseas universities via Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs). She coordinated efforts to bring overseas university officials to visit the University of Houston and visited universities in Europe, Asia, and Latin America to review their programs to assess the best fit for her students. In tandem, she participated in the eligibility and approval of international scholarships as it is the case of the U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program (Gilman Program) that supports outstanding American undergraduate students of limited financial means from a broad range of backgrounds to pursue study or internships abroad. She advised those students to gain skills that promote individual growth, contribute to career readiness, serve as citizen ambassadors, and support American economic competitiveness and national security.
Maria graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at Texas A&M University with major in International Studies and minor in Political Science, Economics, and Spanish. She acquired a Master of Science in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston. She also earned a Technical Degree in Computer Science from the Instituto de Computation Monterrey and an Associates of Arts Degree in Economics from the Lone Star Community College.

At GRINTEV, Tomas has significantly enhanced client satisfaction through personalized small business advice and support. His adeptness in coaching clients through challenging situations, offering conflict resolution strategies, and crafting custom pricing models has helped businesses increase revenue while maintaining customer loyalty and minimizing churn rates.
As the founder of MERKADO VERDE, based in Mexico, Tomas oversees critical aspects of the application's operations, including business opportunity analysis, social media marketing, personalized client management, and meticulous customer support to ensure adherence to procedures, protocols, and standards. His adept risk management strategies have safeguarded the business against potential threats.
In his previous role as a Project Manager Jr at Automatyco in Guadalajara, Tomas demonstrated strong leadership by efficiently managing team projects, delegating tasks, providing timely feedback, and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. He actively contributed to day-to-day operations, fostering collaborative work environments, and consistently improving operational efficiency.
